-Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut said about the rally, “… it is like a celebration for all of us in Maharashtra that two prominent leaders of the Thackeray family, who were separated due to their political ideologies, are finally coming together to share a platform after 20 years. It has always been our wish that we should fight those who are against the people of Maharashtra. Coming together today, Uddhav and Raj Thackeray will definitely give direction to the Marathi people.”
-This reunion is being considered as a political landslide as the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have been on separate paths for a long time. But the Thackeray brothers unitedly opposed the tri-language formula introduced at the Centre, due to which the state government had to shelve the proposed policy for now.

Maharashtra : The rally is being celebrated as “Victory of Marathi Ekta Ki Jeet” and will be attended by writers, teachers, artists, poets, journalists and Marathi lovers in large numbers. The Worli Dome has a seating capacity of 7,000-8,000 people, and LED screens have been installed outside and on the surrounding streets for additional crowds.
Maharashtra : Through this rally, the Thackeray brothers want to convey the message that Marathi self-respect and language need to rise above political differences. However, the absence of Sharad Pawar and Congress leader Harsh Vardhan Sapkal on this forum is also a matter of discussion. An invite was sent by MNS, but they are not attending the rally.
Maharashtra : BJP MP Narayan Rane and Ramdas Kadam of Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) have described this unity as a move to maintain relevance in the upcoming BMC elections.
